The last planning meeting for the Hunter’s Supper is scheduled for Monday, October 19th, 6:30 p.m. at the Wabana Town Hall. Funds raised at the Hunter’s Supper go towards granting scholarships to Wabana Township students, funeral luncheons for Wabana Township residents, the ice cream social in partnership with WCOLA, and financial support for other Wabana Township community programs. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we need as much help as possible. Please attend this meeting if you can!

WAYS YOU CAN HELP WITH THE HUNTER’S SUPPER
- Donate a silent auction item.
- Donate bars or cookies for the bake sale.
- Donations can be dropped off at the Wabana town hall on Friday, November 6th, 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. or Saturday, November 7th starting at 10:00 a.m. If you have a donation and need to make other arrangements for dropoff, contact Sarah Verke at 218-259-9735, or respond to this email.
- Volunteers are needed to help set up the hall and prep food Friday, November 6th starting at 12:00 p.m. to about 2:00 p.m.
- Volunteers are needed to help with food prep on Saturday morning, November 7th at 10:00 a.m.
- Volunteers are needed to help with the Hunter’s Supper on November 7th starting at 4:00 p.m.

The Wabana Community Fund is in need of a new Secretary. The board meets quarterly (4 times a year), and the Secretary position is responsible for keeping minutes and distributing them to Wabana Township residents, communicating about Wabana Community Fund meetings and events, and acting as the official custodian of the records.
