WABANA TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that the Wabana Township Planning
Commission will convene on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Wabana Town Hall located at 30980 Clearwater Rd, Grand Rapids to conduct the following public hearing(s):

Requests related to the construction of a detached garage. Approvals required include a Variance to construct an approx. 36’ x 56’ detached garage approx. 45 ft from the centerline of Ladyslipper Lane (min. 68 ft required). Property Owner: Thomas & Lori Moore. Property Address: XXXXX Ladyslipper Ln, Grand Rapids. Parcel ID: 41-019-1407. Sec-Twp-Rng: 19 57-25.

A site visit by the members of the Planning Commission related to this item will be held on June 24, 2024 at 5:00 pm at the subject property. Members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting which will be for the purpose of gathering information only and no decisions will be made.

A quorum of the Town Board may be present at the meeting but will not hold deliberations or make any decisions.

*** CANCELED–> ITASCA COUNTY LAND USE ZONING SANITATION PERMITS REQUIRED LEGAL NOTICE

Itasca County Planning Commission meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 has been cancelled.  The variance will be processed by Wabana Township Planning Commission.  The date of the meeting is TBD, when a date is determined, notices will be posted and sent out as required.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Minnesota Statutes, Sections 375.51, 394.26 and the Itasca County Zoning Ordinance, the Itasca County Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment will view the following sites and then hold a public hearing in the County Board Room, Courthouse, in the City of Grand Rapids, MN on WEDNESDAY, May 15, 2024, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 P.M. or until the following applications have been addressed. Public Hearing 6:00 pm on 01/26/22

This meeting will continue discussion on the proposed Wabana Township Land Use ordinance The meeting will be held in the Town Hall and via Zoom.  At the January 26 meeting, a motion will be made to continue the meeting to February 2.  There will be no public comment portion at the January 26 meeting
